Extra hard stainless-steel
316 L (1,4441) is an austenitic stainless steel whose basic composition is similar to the 316L (1,4435) stainless-steel, except with a much stricter tolerance to impurities. This gives the steel a better resistance to corrosion than ordinary 316L, making it more suitable for medical applications (and especially implants).
We supply 316 L stainless-steel powder for metal additive manufacturing, including powder bed technologies in 3D printing (SLS, SLM, FDM, EBM…). These powders meet ASTM F899 UNS S31603, WNR 1.4404
